The Italian Embassy in Dhaka has provided new guidelines for individuals seeking to apply for a 'work visa' or 'employee visa' to Italy. In a notice issued on Monday, December 8, the embassy addressed common questions regarding the appointment process for work visa applications.
The embassy clarified that applicants with a Work Nulosta (Employer-issued Permit) for 2025, or a renewed version for the same year, must register on the VFS Global portal. The registration link is: https://vfseu.mioot.com/forms/ITABDE/. Applicants will need to upload a copy of their 2025 Nulosta issued by their Italian employer. After registration, the embassy will verify the Nulosta and provide an appointment within a few days.
For applicants with a Nulosta issued in 2023 or 2024, the embassy has instructed them to wait until the Italian Immigration Office completes its review of the document. Once the review is concluded, VFS Global will reach out to those applicants for further steps.
This update aims to streamline the work visa application process and ensure applicants are aware of the necessary steps depending on their Nulosta’s issuance year.
