Law Adviser Asif Nazrul said that the government will announce its decision on how to implement the July Charter within the next three to four days.
He also expressed hope that all political parties will accept the government decision.
Asif Nazrul made the remarks on Tuesday during a view-exchange meeting at the Judicial Administration Training Institute on proposed amendments to the draft Legal Aid Ordinance 2025.
He mentioned that meaningful progress can only come through a gradual reform process.
“We should move away from the idea that reforms can be achieved overnight,” he added.
The Law Adviser said that the Constitution is not a magic that can solve all problems simply by including new provisions.
He also expressed hope that the next elected government will continue the ongoing reform process.
