Today is National Revolution and Solidarity Day. On this day in 1975, when the entire nation was facing uncertainty, the joint revolution of the soldiers and the mass people created a unique example of patriotism by foiling all conspiracies against national independence and sovereignty. The soldiers and the mass people freed martyred President Ziaur Rahman from captivity and installed him in state power.
He brought the country out of that crisis and introduced multi-party democracy. He initiated a new style of politics of development and production.
On the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day on November 7, the party flag was hoisted at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan and party offices across the country at 6 am today.
The party's national leaders and activists at all levels laid wreaths and recited Fateha at the mausoleum of former President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam at 10 am.
A big number of people’s gathering was seen there.
