The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, at many places across the country over the next 24 hours, beginning at 9 am on Sunday.
According to a BMD bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely at most places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Mymensingh divisions. Many places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions may also experience rain, with moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall expected at some locations in Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Mymensingh divisions.
Day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country, the meteorological office added.
On Saturday, the highest temperature of 34.0°C was recorded at Sreemangal in Sylhet division, while the lowest temperature of 21.5°C was observed at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:43 pm on Sunday and will rise at 5:52 am on Monday.
