Hasnat Abdullah, the main organizer of the National Citizens Party (NCP) in the southern region and one of the leaders of the July Movement, has threatened the journalists.
He made this threat while participating in the NCP march that started from the Railgate area of Rajshahi city and ended at Zero Point at around 8 pm on Sunday.
He spoke at a rally held at Zero Point after the march.
In his speech, Hasnat Abdullah said, "We have not forgotten the role that Bashundhara's media played in favor of the murderer Hasina. Bashundhara Group journalists have once again taken to the field to legitimize crimes nakedly. They are conspiring to create another one-eleven. The people will never tolerate it."
He also said, "The July Movement will continue to restore the voting rights and fair rights of the people of the country. This movement will continue with the people until the final goal is achieved.”
Central and local leaders of National Citizens Party were present at the rally.
