The month-long programme of National Citizen Party (NCP) to mark the anniversary of the “2024 July Uprising” will begin with a visit to martyred Abu Sayeed's grave in Babanpur village under Pirganj Upazila of Rangpur today (Tuesday).
The programme titled “Desh Garte July Padayatra” will run from July 1 to July 30.
Chief coordinator of Rangpur metropolitan NCP Sadia Farzana Dina announced this on Monday.
During a press conference, Sadia Farzana Dina said, “July Uprising is not just a day of movement for us, but it is a symbol of our sacrifice, conviction and dream. A year has passed, and some achievements and challenges have come during this time.”
NCP Central Convener Nahid Islam, Member-Secretary Md Akhtar Hossain, South Region Chief Organizer Hasnat Abdullah, North Region Chief Organizer Md Sarjis Alam, Joint Chief Organizer Abu Sayeed Leon will be present at the programme.
