BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury said, “The creativity that existed in Bangladesh regarding the economy has been destroyed in the last 17 years. Business should be kept out of politics, but has to be freed from the fascists. If BNP comes to power, at least 1 crore people will be employed in the first one and a half years.”
He said this in his speech as the chief guest at the Sylhet Business Dialogue program at the Jalalabad Gas Auditorium in Mendibag area of Sylhet on Saturday afternoon.
Amir Khasru said, “Doing politics like before will not work anymore as the mentality of the people of Bangladesh has changed. If we come to power, we will take steps to provide employment to 1 crore people in 18 months.”
Businessmen from different levels of Sylhet and leaders and activists of BNP's affiliate organizations were present at the program.
