The Election Commission (EC) has transferred six officials to the posts of Regional Election Officer, Director and Deputy Secretary.
These officials have been asked to join their new posts by July 7.
The transfer was announced in a separate notification signed by election commission assistant secretary Mohammad Shahidur Rahman on Sunday.
Election Commission deputy secretary Md. Faridul Islam has been transferred to the Rangpur regional election officer and Rangpur Regional Election officer Mohammad Azizul Islam has been transferred to the Rajshahi regional election officer.
Rajshahi Regional Election Officer Md. Delwar Hossain has been transferred to the election commission secretariat as deputy secretary.
Besides, Muhammad Hasanuzzaman, director of administration and Finance Branch of the National Identity Registration Division, has been transferred to the eElection Training Institute as director.
Election commission deputy secretary Md. Humayun Kabir has been transferred to the EC's budget wing, and Mohammad Habibur Rahman, deputy secretary of the budget wing, has been made director of the administration and finance wing of the National Identity Registration Division.
