A high-level delegation of 9 members led by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is going to visit China.
The visit is being made at the invitation of the ruling Communist Party of China.
Shairul Kabir Khan, one of the members of BNP's media cell, said that a high-level delegation led by Mirza Fakhrul is leaving for China at Saturday night.
The BNP delegation went to the country's embassy in Dhaka on Thursday (June 19) evening at the invitation of China's acting ambassador to Dhaka Liu Yuyin.
The delegation included BNP standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Selima Rahman, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, BNP Chairperson's advisor Zahir Uddin Swapan, Ismail Zabiullah, professor Dr. Sukomal Barua, convener of the Media Cell Moudud Ahmed Pavel.
BNP leaders also said that meetings with top Chinese communist leaders, development of bilateral relations and exchange of political experience will be important during the visit.
