The weather forecast says that light to moderate rain with thunder and temporary gusty winds are likely in eight divisions of the country till 6 pm on Friday.
The divisional forecast released by the Storm Warning Center of the Meteorological Department further says that the sky may be partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy.
