BNP Chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia has returned to her Gulshan residence Firoza after a health check-up at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
The BNP chairperson reached her Gulshan residence around 12 am on Thursday, reports BSS.
Her personal physician, Professor AZM Zahid Hossain, said: "Madam's tests have been completed at the advice of the medical board. She returned to Firoza as the board decided to provide her treatment at home."
He said the medical board expects that the BNP chairperson's physical condition would improve further with the home treatment.
Khaleda Zia reached Evercare Hospital from her residence “Firoza” at about 6:50 pm on Wednesday.
Khaleda Zia returned to Bangladesh on May 6 after undergoing four months of advanced treatment in London.
After arriving in Dhaka, a medical board under the supervision of Professor Shahabuddin Talukder, a specialist doctor at Evercare Hospital, is providing her with medical care at Firoza.
The BNP chairperson received treatment under the supervision of specialist doctors at 'London Clinic' in London.
