Rizvi requests party leaders-activists not to be confused over fake press release

All party leaders and activists have been requested not to be confused about the fake press release circulated on Facebook with the signature of BNP senior joint secretary general Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

A press release signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said on Tuesday, "I hereby inform all party leaders and activists that a self-interested and malicious group posted a press release on the social media Facebook on June 15 using my signature. The press release posted on Facebook is completely false, fabricated and motivated by malicious intent."

The press release was not sent to the media from the BNP office, and it is completely fabricated and fake, said Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
