The top leaders of the National Citizens Party (NCP) have issued a show cause notice to the joint convener of the party Sarwar Tusher following allegations of moral lapse.
The notice was issued in a circular signed by joint member secretary Saleh Uddin Sifat on Tuesday.
The circular states that since allegations of moral lapse have been raised, convener Md. Nahid Islam and member secretary Md. Akhtar Hossain have sought your specific position and explanation on the matter. In such a situation, instructions have been given to send a written explanation as to why organizational action will not be taken against you due to the allegations of moral lapse raised, to the 'Political Council' and the investigation committee formed in this regard within the next five days.
The circular further states that you are hereby directed to refrain from all organizational activities of the party until the matter is resolved, in accordance with the joint instructions of the convener and member secretary.
