Bangladesh will open new missions in 5 countries to expand trade and enhance diplomatic ties. This information was revealed in a post on Monday by Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, the interim government's Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Advisor, on his verified Facebook page.
In the post, the advisor said that in the context of the changing geopolitical environment, international economic reality and transition from LDC, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken the initiative to establish new missions in 5 countries to strengthen political ties with Europe and South America, expand trade and involve expatriate Bangladeshis in the development process.
He also said that these missions will be established in Dublin of Ireland, Oslo of Norway, Buenos Aires of Argentina, Frankfurt of Germany and Sao Paulo of Brazil.
