The interim government will take a legal decisions to recover the seized assets of Salman F. Rahman, the private industry and investment advisor to the deposed dictator Sheikh Hasina, and former land minister Saifuzzaman in the UK.
And Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H. Mansur, in this regard, said that it is possible to return the seized assets to the country only if proven in the judicial process.
He said this at a view-exchange meeting with journalists at Bangladesh Bank on Sunday.
The governor said the government can appoint lawyers if it wants. They will decide whether to handle a criminal or civil case.
Meanwhile, regarding buying a house in Dubai, Ahsan H. Mansur said, “He is being personally attacked on purpose.”
He also said he is being personally attacked with a view to interrupt the recovery of money laundering in a different sector.
