Local Government, Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has said the path to victory for pro-Bangladesh forces has become easier, following a high-profile political development abroad, reports BSS.
“The path to victory for pro-Bangladesh people has become easy today,” he wrote in a post on his verified Facebook page late Friday, shortly after a meeting between Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman in London.
Referring to the meeting, Asif expressed optimism that continued understanding among political forces in support of the “July Proclamation” would lead to reforms, justice, and fair elections. “If such understanding continues for the sake of July proclamation, reformation, justice, and fair election, the victory of Bangladesh is a must,” he stated.
In the same post, the adviser also urged citizens to remain vigilant against those conspiring to destabilize the country. “Despite repeated failures, they (conspirators) continue to reappear with new plots,” he warned.
In an earlier Facebook post, Asif shared a photo of Prof Yunus and Tarique Rahman warmly shaking hands and smiling ahead of their meeting in London, a gesture that has drawn attention amid the evolving political landscape.
