Chief Advisor to the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus met with Britain's King Charles III.
The meeting took place at Buckingham Palace, the royal palace of Britain, at around 4:30 pm Bangladesh time on Thursday.
This was confirmed by the Chief Advisor's press secretary Shafiqul Alam. He published a picture of Dr. Muhammad Yunus' meeting with Britain's King Charles III on his verified Facebook page.
Upon reaching Buckingham Palace, Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus was welcomed by King Charles III.
Shafiqul Alam said in his Facebook post that the British monarch is a fan of Professor Yunus' work, which includes his pioneering microfinance bank, social business campaign to combat poverty and the three zeros campaign to save civilization from self-destruction.
The press secretary said that King Charles wrote the introduction to a book authored by Professor Yunus.
