Bangladesh reported five new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours ending Monday morning, bringing the country's total confirmed caseload to 2,021,747, according to data released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
No new deaths were recorded during this period, with the official death toll remaining at 29,500.
The DGHS said that 41 samples were tested, resulting in a daily test positivity rate of 12.20 percent.
The national recovery rate remains at 98.42 percent, while the fatality rate stands at 1.44 percent.
Health officials continue to monitor the situation, urging the public to maintain caution despite the low daily case count.
