BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, along with her entourage, left for Bangladesh from Heathrow Airport.
Earlier, she left son Tarique Rahman's house in London on her way to the airport. On Monday, BNP Chairperson's personal physician and BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain confirmed this information, Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan said.
After nearly four months of advanced treatment in London, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia left for Dhaka on Monday at 4:10 pm local time (9:10 pm Bangladesh time). She left in an 'air ambulance' provided by the Emir of Qatar. The former Prime Minister will arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:30 am Bangladesh time on Tuesday. She will go directly to her Gulshan residence 'Firoza' from the airport.
Upon being informed of Khaleda Zia's physical illness in Dhaka, Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani provided a special plane from the royal fleet. Khaled Zia went to London on January 8 in that special air ambulance. The former Prime Minister is returning home from London on that special plane.
