Vice Chairman of the National Consensus Commission Prof Ali Riaz on Saturday said the commission formed to consider the recommendations of various reform commissions, is no one's adversary.
He made this claim before sitting in a dialogue with the 12-party unity alliance at the LD Hall of the National Parliament.
Ali Riaz said, “There will be differences of opinion among the parties. While leaders and activists will speak from their own positions in the national interest, there must also be a mentality of concessions.”
Although it is not possible to agree on all issues, the vice-chairman of the Consensus Commission said that they will be able to agree on state building.
He also said, “The Consensus Commission does not have a specific role. The commission is no one's adversary. Our main goal is to create a specific national charter.”
