Former MP Zafar Alam arrested from capital’s Dhanmondi

Former MP of Cox's Bazar-1 constituency Md. Zafar Alam has been arrested by the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB).

He was arrested from the capital's Dhanmondi area on Sunday afternoon.

Deputy police commissioner (DC) of the Media and Public Relations Department of the DMP Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter.

He said that former Cox's Bazar-1 MP Md. Zafar Alam has been arrested. He was arrested from the capital's Dhanmondi area on Sunday. There are multiple cases against him. Legal proceedings are ongoing against him.
