The Cabinet Division has announced the appointment of Mohammad Sufiur Rahman as special assistant to the Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.
Sufiur Rahman will hold the rank and status of a state minister. Under the Rules of Business, 1996, he has been delegated executive authority over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assist the adviser, said an official notification.
While serving in this role, Sufiur will receive the salary, allowances, and all ancillary facilities entitled to a state minister, it added.
