The foreign affairs advisor of the interim government, Md. Touhid Hossain, said whether India will issue visas is their affairs.
“However, there is no gap for visas, as people find solutions in other countries,” he said.
He said this while talking to the reporters at the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
The visas for India are closed, is there any initiative by the Foreign Ministry in this regard? In response to the question of the journalists, the foreign affairs advisor said, “Issuing visas is their business. We also temporarily closed visas in that country. However, when a country's visa is closed, there is no gap. People find solutions in other countries.”
Bangladeshis are protesting to get visas for Italy. When asked to comment on this, Touhid Hossain said “We are continuously discussing with the country about visas for Italy. However, there are questions about the documents that are given to get visas. Many illegal documents are given for visas to Italy. They (Italy) are looking into whether those documents are really correct. Many people have genuine documents, but they are also suffering for visas in this situation.”
