Maulana Mamunul Haque, the Ameer of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, has called for the election after necessary reforms.
“In the next election, all the Islamist parties will unite. Already the discussion is underway. We are also hoping for a broader unity in the future Bangladesh, ” said Mamunul.
He made these remarks on Thursday (January 16) at 11:00 am while attending an event at a madrasa in Bhola Sadar Upazila as the chief guest. He shared these views with journalists after the event.
He further stated, “Anti-Fascist parties endured a lot of oppression and persecution over the years. All of them need to unite. If the fallen fascist force resurges, then that will be an ominous sign for all.”
He further added, “We have strongly demanded and proposed the inclusion of a provision in Bangladesh's constitution to ensure that no anti-Islamic laws, policies, or regulations can be enforced.
