BNP executive committee member and Dhaka district BNP general secretary Nipun Roy Chowdhury has been granted bail in 7 cases filed in different police stations of the capital, including the cases over attack on the residence of the Chief Justice.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Assamsh Jaglul Hossain delivered the order on Thursday.
Nipun surrendered the judgment in the Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court of Dhaka on Thursday and applied for bail. Following the application, the judge passed this order.
She got bail in the cases including two cases filed at Ramna Model Police Station and five cases filed at Paltan Model Police Station.
Additional Public Prosecutor Tapas Kumar Pal confirmed this information to the media.
