The court has ordered to seize the assets of e-commerce company Evaly’s managing director Mohammad Rassel and his wife Shamima Nasrin on charge of breaching the faith and involving in fraudulence acts.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Farah Diba Chhanda issued the order on Thursday.
In the same case, the court issued an arrest warrant on February 15. However, as the warrant was not implemented and he did not surrender, the court ordered to seize his assets.
Sabiqul Islam, the plaintiff's lawyer, confirmed this information.
Mujahid Hasan Fahim, a resident of Darus Salam police station in the capital, filed the case in court on January 16 this year.
