Prime Minister’s Security Affairs Adviser Maj Gen (retired) Tarique Ahmed Siddique has said the deaths along the border are not murders, but accidents.
“The border killings were not planned and both sides are equally at fault,” he said while addressing the annual conference of deputy commissioners (DCs) in Dhaka on Tuesday, reports Daily Sun.
Tarique Ahmed said, “The tension is still going on at the border in Myanmar. As per the prime minister's order, we will not go into aggression with anyone. But the army is ready to face any situation.”
