BNP calls emergency press conference this afternoon

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has called an emergency press conference to address the overall political situation, arrest of its leaders and activists and attack on them.

The media conference will be held at 4:30 pm at the party chairperson's Gulshan office in the capital.

Party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will brief the media.

BNP media-wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed the matter to the media.
