BNP senior joint secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Sunday rejected the tea invitation by the Election Commission (EC).
Dhaka district BNP president Khandakar Abu Ashfaq said a BNP delegation led by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi went Election Commission office to submit the annual income and expenditure report of the party at noon. After submitting the report, EC Secretary Mohammad Jahangir Alam invited the delegation to have tea. But Ruhul Kabir Rizvi rejected the proposal and came out from the EC with the delegation.
BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council member Abul Khair Bhuiyan, International Affairs secretary Barrister Nasir Uddin Ahmed Ashim, assistant office secretary Munir Hossain, Dhaka district BNP president Khandakar Abu Ashfaq and central executive committee member Abdus Sattar Patwary were present at that time.
