A Dhaka court on Monday placed five more accused on two-day remand each in a case lodged over attack on independent candidate Md Ashraful Hossain Alam, alias Hero Alam, during Dhaka-17 by-polls on July 17, reports BSS.
The remanded accuseds are Sajal, Prince, Saheb Ali, Shoyeb and Bayejid.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehedi Hasan passed the order as police produced them before the court and pleaded to place them on 10-day remand.
Hero Alam's personal assistant Sujan Rahman Shuvo lodged the case with Banani thana on July 18 accusing some 15-20 unknown people for the attack.
