Led by Senior Secretary of Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat KM Abdus Salam, other officials met Indian Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday.
Speaker Om Birla welcomed the officials of the Secretariat, reports Daily Sun.
Birla said Lok Sabha represents 140 crore people. The democratic process between Bangladesh and India is same. Parliament speaks of the people. People should be given better services through use of increased technology and skill, he added.
Mentioning accountability to the people, he said Sangsad Secretariat has great role to play in materializing expectations of the common masses.
He also greeted President Md Shahabuddin, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury. He said everybody should know about Indian Lok Sabha, adding that it has completely been digitised.
