A bilateral meeting between Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal and Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is held on the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors conference in Gujarat, India, reports UNB.
According to a press release from Bangladesh finance Ministry, on Tuesday Bangladesh’s finance minister discussed with his Indian counterpart on bilateral business and economic cooperation between the two nations.
Despite not being a member of the G20 alliance, Bangladesh has been given the status of a 'guest country' in the South Asian region.
India, the host country, has invited Bangladesh as a 'guest country'. Kamal expressed gratitude to India for inviting Bangladesh as a 'guest country' at the G-20 conference.
