Agriculture Minister and Awami League Presidium Member Dr Abdur Razzak on Thursday said the government would resist the arson terrorism by the BNP-Jamaat nexus which they did in the year of 2013-2014.
He made the remarks while visiting the modern fields prepared by the ‘Rajshahi Division Agriculture Development Project to produce export-oriented mangoes in Kendua and Gachua village under Nachol upazila of Chapainawabganj.
The Agriculture Minister said Bangladeshi mangoes have huge demand in the global market. Mango production increased in the country which has the possibility of export on a large scale.
Later, Abdur Razzak visited the multi-cold storage and pollinate house to preserve mangoes in Sahabazpur and Chatrajitpur under the Shibganj upazila.
Lawmaker and Chapainawabganj district Awami League General Secretary Mohammad Abdul Wadud, Dr Samil Uddin Ahmed Sentu, Agriculture Secretary Wahida Akter and deputy commissioner A.K.M Galib Khan were present at that time.
