A high‑ranking Pakistani delegation, led by Field Marshal Asim Munir, is on its way to Iran to deliver a message from the US and coordinate a second round of talks, Iran’s state media are reporting.
The IRIB news agency said the second round of talks is expected to be held in the coming days in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
Iranian sources tell the media that Pakistani Field Marshal Munir has landed in Iran as part of a delegation to hold high-level talks on the resumption of negotiations between Iran and the US.
