Indonesia is preparing 1,000 troops for potential deployment in Gaza by early April as part of a proposed multinational peacekeeping mission, an army spokesperson said Monday, reports Reuters.
Spokesperson Donny Pramono emphasized that the final decision on deployment rests with the government. He added that the Indonesian military aims to have a total of 8,000 soldiers ready for peacekeeping duties by June, depending on government approval and international coordination.
