The US President Donald Trump has praised the Israeli prime minister as a “war hero” in a lengthy post in which he decried Netanyahu’s prosecution in an ongoing corruption trial, reports BSS.
Trump’s latest comments, shared in a post on TruthSocial, come days after the US president called for the trial to be dropped.
In the new post on Saturday night, Trump claimed the “POLITICAL WITCH HUNT” against Netanyahu “will interfere with both Iran and Hamas negotiations”.
Netanyahu “did a fabulous job working with the United States to bring Great Success in getting rid of the dangerous Nuclear threat in Iran”, Trump said.
“Importantly, he is right now in the process of negotiating a Deal with Hamas, which will include getting the Hostages back,” he added.
