The Israeli military said on Tuesday that Iran has launched a new wave of missiles toward them and urged the public to take shelter, reports Al Jazeera.
It said air raid sirens have been activated in several areas.
The new announcement comes moments after the military told the public that an earlier strike had ended and that it was now safe to leave bomb shelters.
Meanwhile, the Reuters news agency said that explosions have been heard over Tel Aviv, as air raid sirens blare in central and southern Israel.
Earlier, the Israeli military said that alarms have been activated in “several areas” following the missile launches from Iran, and that it is working to intercept the projectiles.
The Times of Israel reported sirens across northern Israel as well as in the southern part.
