Many people online are saying that Pakistan might use nuclear weapons against Israel if Israel attacks Iran with nukes. But these claims are not true at all, Bloom Pakistan reported.
Pakistan’s army media wing, ISPR, has not issued any statement suggesting a nuclear response to Israel. There’s also no evidence that Pakistan has informed the US or France about any plans to support Iran in a war or launch a nuclear attack on Israel.
All reports suggesting that Pakistan would respond with a nuclear strike if Iran is attacked are baseless and untrue.
What Pakistan has officially said is that it supports Iran. During a session of the National Assembly on Saturday, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said, “Israel has attacked Iran, Yemen, and Palestine. If Muslim countries don’t unite now, they will face the same danger.”
He added that Pakistan stands with Iran and will support it at all international platforms.
On Friday, Pakistan’s permanent representative at UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran, calling them “unjustified and illegal,” and urged the UN Security Council to act swiftly to prevent further nuclear threat in the region.
