The Dubai Public Prosecution is investigating an isolated incident involving two Uzbek nationals who lost their lives during a personal dispute between two groups at a petrol station in Dubai in April, reports Khaleej Times.
The altercation, reportedly the result of an old disagreement, occurred when the victims arrived to inflate their vehicle’s tyres. A police officer who happened to be nearby witnessed the incident and immediately alerted the authorities.

Dubai Police reached the site promptly, secured the area, and collected items left behind by those involved.
CCTV footage and witness statements helped the authorities piece together the sequence of events and identify the individuals connected to the case.
Following a swift investigation, the police arrested all 11 individuals involved, including the primary suspects, at a hotel in another emirate.
During questioning, those arrested admitted to being involved in the dispute, citing previous tensions as the cause.
Authorities confirmed that the incident was a result of a personal matter and involved individuals known to each other. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal procedures.
Dubai Police reassured the public that such violent incident is rare and that the emirate remains one of the safest cities in the world.
