Israel's security cabinet approved the ‘possibility of humanitarian distribution’ in Gaza, insisting there was ‘currently enough food’ in the Palestinian territory.
Citing a political source, AFP reported the update on Monday. However, Gaza has been under an Israeli blockade for more than two months.
"The cabinet approved by a large majority the possibility of a humanitarian distribution, if necessary, to prevent Hamas from taking control of the supplies and to destroy its governance capabilities. During the cabinet discussion, it was mentioned that there is currently enough food in Gaza," the source told the media.
