Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his condolences and assistance to Iran following a deadly explosion at Bandar Abbas, the country's largest port. The Kremlin confirmed the offer on Sunday, reports Reuters.
Putin extended "deep condolences" to the victims' families, expressing his support and wishing a swift recovery to the injured. His message, published on the Kremlin’s website, emphasized solidarity with Iran during the tragedy.
Iranian state media reported that the blast, likely caused by the explosion of chemical materials, killed at least 25 people and injured more than 700 on Saturday. Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the explosion at the port, which plays a crucial role in the country's maritime trade.
