Benjamin Netanyahu’s office says the Israeli government “embraces the two returnees”, adding that their families have been informed that Yarden Bibas and Ofer Kalderon were received, reports Al Jazeera.
“The government, together with all security agencies, will accompany them and their families,” a statement on X said.
“The Israeli government is committed to returning all abducted and missing persons.”
The two captives were released earlier by the military wing of Hamas in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis as part of the ceasefire deal between Israel and the group.
