The World Bank (WB) has highlighted the formation of a ‘trident-shape’ growth corridor in Bangladesh, and the increasing relevance of municipalities for the country's industrial sector, reports the Daily Sun.
The industrial job growth continues to be clustered along the Dhaka-Chattogram corridor, but the trajectory has recently extended to the north, thereby forming the 'trident-shape', the multilateral development agency said in its latest update on the state of the economy.
The 'Bangladesh Development Update' report was published online on Tuesday.
