Bangladesh is the ninth biggest economy in the Asian region, excluding Japan, according to the latest statistics disclosed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), reports the Daily Sun.
Bangladesh is also the second biggest economy in South Asia, after India. The country’s nominal GDP was $450.5 billion last year, ADB said.
In Asia, excluding Japan, Bangladesh is preceded by China, India, South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
