State Minister for Land Barrister Kayser Kamal conducted a surprise inspection of the Siddhirganj Union Land Office in Narayanganj on Wednesday morning and found no officials present.
Arriving at the office at 9:10 am, the minister waited for approximately half an hour on the balcony. Frustrated by the absence of staff at the scheduled time, he expressed strong disapproval.
“Such incidents are undesirable. Strict action will be taken against those who neglect their duties,” he said, emphasizing the importance of accountability in public service.
He added, “The government elected by the people will work for the people. Any irregularity or corruption will not be tolerated.”
The surprise visit highlights ongoing concerns about punctuality and responsibility among local administrative officials.
