‘Felani Avenue’ road plaque to be unveiled tomorrow

An important road from Gulshan-2 roundabout to Pragati Sarani in the capital has been renamed ‘Felani Avenue’. The road has been named in honour of the memory of Felani Khatun, a teenager killed at the border. The road’s nameplate will be unveiled at 4pm on Tuesday, December 16, the Victory Day.

This information was shared by Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Public Relations Officer Jobayer Hossain in a press release on Monday.

The release said that Adilur Rahman Khan, Advisor to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, will be present as the chief guest at the event.

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Administrator Mohammad Ejaz will preside over the event.
