A bus was allegedly set on fire by miscreants near Labaid Hospital in Dhaka's Dhanmondi area on Monday evening.
Firefighters were alerted to the incident around 7:30 pm.
Two firefighting units rushed to the spot, and firefighters were working to put out the blaze, said Khaleda Yasmin, duty officer at the control room of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
However, the official could not say how the fire started on the bus, or whether there were passengers on board, or if it was parked.
