Newly appointed German Ambassador Dr Rüdiger Lotz held talks with a BNP delegation, led by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, at the party Chairperson’s Office in Gulshan, Dhaka on Thursday morning.
Both sides discussed Bangladesh’s ongoing political situation, democratic process, the upcoming general election, and Dhaka’s international cooperation.
Also present in the BNP delegation were: Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Standing Committee member and Chairperson’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee member; Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Standing Committee member; and Shama Obaid, BNP Organizing Secretary as well as member of the Chairperson’s Special Advisory Committee on Foreign Affairs.
