Calling to stop the Israel-Hamas war, the Bangladesh Shishu Adhikar Forum (BSAF) protested the killing of civilians including children and women by the ground operation of Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement on Wednesday, BSAF said, the world has been witnessing the violation of Human Rights in its highest form in Palestine’s Gaza due to recent continuous bombardment by the Israeli forces.
Over 10,000 people have been killed so far while 6,000 among them are children, adolescents and women. There is no space for taking into consideration schools, hospitals and residences of civilians. Hundreds and thousands of people are homeless in Gaza. Brutality and killing of civilians especially the killing of women, adolescents and children have crossed all the boundaries of killing civilians, violation of Human Rights, achievement of world peace and development parameters.
It also said world leaders must come forward to take the strongest and most effective initiative to stop the Israel-Hamas war immediately. We do not want war. We want peace in the world at any cost, especially in Gaza. Flying birds have also their destination but children in Gaza have lost their destination even. They are homeless in their homeland. We strongly condemn such heinous killings in Gaza when the world civilization and development index is expected to be in encouraging stages.
We call upon all the state leaders to take immediate action to stop this war. We also urge all international organizations, bodies and entities to be on standby at Gaza with full cooperation and support to all injured children and their families in this life-death situation. We strongly demand all children in this universe shall be protected properly. Our future generation shall be protected for our future planet, added the statement.
